Licensed Acupuncturist, Clinical Herbalist and owner of Coyote Herbs & Acupuncture.
Megan McFarland LAc., MAc.CHM is a Texas Medical Board Licensed Acupuncturist, NCCAOM Diplomate, Chinese Herbalist and Certified Clinical Western Herbalist. She owns and operates Coyote Herbs and Acupuncture in Southwest Austin, a holistic health practice that offers acupuncture, bodywork, diet therapy, functional testing and custom herbal formulation from her apothecary of over 500 herbs. Megan is an eclectic acupuncturist and blends modern styles of acupuncture like dry needling, electroacupuncture and neuroacupuncture with Channel Theory and Classical Chinese Acupuncture, emphasizing Complement Channels and Extraordinary Vessels in her treatments. She holds a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM and has studied traditional and modern styles of acupuncture and herbal medicine internationally, including further study of Channel Theory in Chengdu, China and Gua Sha and reflexology in Shaoguan, China. Megan has spent her career working in every part of the holistic healthcare industry, from formerly owning and operating an organic farm, to teaching community herbalism, to formulating products and treating the public.
